I Bought A Tractor

I am no longer in need of a small tractor as I have made a purchase from RN Johnson Inc. in Walpole New Hampshire. My new machine was delivered last Friday morning while I was at work, which was not ideal. Some pictures were requested by my co-workers and my girlfriend sent them right away. It was kind of like waking up Christmas morning, going to work, and having someone send you photos of your new toys while you couldn't touch them.

In our timber frame shop, not only do we hand cut natural timbers to produce stunning post and beam buildings, timber barns, and timber trusses, but we also take every chance we get to pick on one another about just about everything from the shoes we wear to the age of a potential love interest. Upon receiving the photos of my tractor, our engineer and our president, began laying on a series of comments like, "I can't believe your still here and not at home with your new toy." Also, "Look how long the grass is in those pictures." This went on for a little while and I finally asked if they were serious and if I could go. The result was me sitting on my new tractor and mowing my field right after lunch. Can't beat that.

Vermont Timber Works adds another Satisfied Customer to our list!

Just recently Vermont Timber Works was contracted by Moss and Associates in Ft. Lauderdale Florida to provide Heavy Timber Trellises for the Broward County Fire Stations.

Our skilled crew hand cut the timbers, fabricated them in our shop, and shipped them to Florida for installation by Moss's Crew.

Just today, I received a note that said how wonderful the trellises worked out, and that they were very pleased with the final product.

We now have a Purchase Order for a FOURTH trellis for Broward County.

Now THAT'S what defines SUCCESS!

Timber Framing

Another timber frame is being assembled at our shop. Beautiful reclaimed timbers are shipping soon for a "new" antique timber frame. These post and beam structures have all the rustic appeal they did when they were built around 100 years ago. And now they have brand new heavy timber engineering and traditional joinery to stand for generations to come.

Our spring and summer schedules are filling up with all sorts of natural timber frames, from all over the country. We have post and beam barns in New York. A church in New Jersey is getting some new timber trusses. A California home is having some great room trusses put in. Too many timber frames to mention. Vermont Timber Works Baseball Academy

In the honor of American spring traditions, the crew at Vermont Timber Works has started playing baseball during their mid-day break. For the majority of the day, our team of post and beam craftsman are busy manufacturing hand cut natural timber frames. Our shop is always moving with shop drawings and architectural drawings coming to life as the tightest fitting, longest lasting timber frames available. But for about 30 minutes a day, we hit the diamond just outside of our shop and work an ash bat.
Since we can't play ball all day, there are parts of our game that need a little work. In no time, I'm sure, we will be picked up by a wealthy investor, and driven to our new stadium. I Want a Tractor

I am in need of a tractor. For the purpose of mowing five acres, and plowing a large driveway, I need compact farm equipment. What does this have to do with timber framing? If, unlike myself, you already have a tractor, you need a place to put it. Post and beam barns and timber framed out-buildings are the answer.
